Who will fill up in George Lwandamina's stead? The departure of "Chicken" George Lwandamina at Zesco has left a gap in the Head Coach section. Lwandamina had seen the United advance to the semi-finals of the 2016 CAF Champions league. And only the previous season Zesco where the champions of the FAZ super league for the 5th time. It was the second time that a super league trophy was added to Lwandamina's résumé since holding the office at Zesco beginning 2014. Zanaco Football Club defender Ziyo Tembo walked away with 25,000 kwacha after been named the 2016 MTN FAZ Super League Player of the Year at the awards ceremony held last Tuesday evening at the Hotel Intercontinental.   During the 2016 season Tembo helped his team from participating in the CAF Confederation to the finals of Barclays Cup and to the eventual league crowning as Zanaco emerged victors and champions of the league .   CAF reveals nominees for other categories. Yesterday's revelation from the CAF shows some more award categories which brought Zesco United on the nomination list. A check on the cafonline site says the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the nominees for the other categories for the 2016 Glo-CAF Awards. These categories include Women’s Player of the Year list with an appearance of the 22 year old Asisat OSHOALA of Nigeria who plays for Arsenal Ladies. Also on the category is the National Team of the Year. Another one is Club of the Year that includes Zesco United of Zambia together with Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, TP Mazembe (Congo DRC) and Zamalek from Egypt. Aggrey Chiyangi face the most daunting task ever at Nkana as they face Forest Rangers at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in a MTN FAZ super league week 34 fixture.   Nkana must score more than 10 goals on Saturday in case Lumwana Radiants and Zesco United game end in a goalless draw. FAZ Bows to League Fixture Adjustments

  According to the report on Facebook Fazfootball social media "The Football Association of Zambia(FAZ) has announced adjustments in the final fixtures of the 2016 MTN FAZ Super League."   The adjustments have been following up on some requests from clubs in the upper and lower slot of the table.
