NKANA Record their first Victory

NKANA record their first victory as Austin Muwowo and Shadreck Musonda scored a goal each. They inspired Nkana football club to a resounding 2-0 victory over Napsa Stars on Saturday at Heroes National Stadium in the MTN FAZ Super League Week Three fixture.

 

It was Kalampa’s first victory this season after recording a loss and draw in the opening two matches. Diego Apanane’s cross found unmarked Austin Muwowo who headed the ball into bottom right corner to send Kalampa supporters in wild jubilation.

 

Ronald Kampamba set up Musonda with a low pass to make it 2-0 in 92nd minute. The Kitwe side move up to 7th position on the league table after Saturday’s win. Nkana where missing the services of injured Soutra Tshimenga and suspend striker Walter Bwalya.

 

Kalampa are now shifting focus to welcoming Zesco United in their next fixture at Nkana Stadium on April 30.
