Revised calendar for CAF Interclub competitions

The CAF Emergency Committee has approved the revised calendar for the Interclubs competitions which was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The revised calendar involves the semi-finals and final competitions of Total Confederation cup 2019/20 and Total Caf Champions League 2019/20. For both CAF interclub competitions, the champions league and confederation cup, semi-finalists involve countries from Egypt and Morocco with only one team Horoya outside North Africa. Sudden SuperSport cancellation of televising CAF games means a total of 6 competitions will be affected. Regular SuperSport CAF live game cast include Champions League, Confederation Cup and AFCON. Yesterday 8th October 2019 CAF revealed that it had cancelled the television and marketing deal, worth $1b, with Lagardere. Lagarde was found guilty to have breached CAF competition rules. And Zesco United lost their second game away in Tumasi Ghana to Asante Kotoko with a 2-1 scoreline.
