FIFA advised Kashala and the National Association about the eligibility of Mr. Kalusha Bwalya to contest for the CAF Membership. FIFA plainly stated that the information provided by FAZ was of a general nature only and related "to an internal matter that does not come under the remit of FIFA". This was in a reply to a letter dated 29th May 2019 Caf Executive Committee Elections which Mr. Adrian Kashala sent to FIFA recommending only Mr. Andrew Kamanga as the only nominee from Zambia for the CAF executive membership. Football Association Zambia has listened to football stakeholders and are to meet Clubs on CAF October 15 Deadline. The action follows after a press correspondence from FAZ that week 35 will be the cut off point to submit clubs that will play in the next CAF League season. Football stakeholders both Clubs and Bloggers wondered how FAZ was going to implement this. Concerns were raised that nested FAZ was losing direction from normal way of doing things. The Football Association of Zambian (FAZ) has set 7th October 2018 as the date they will decide for the Top four teams to submit to CAF as Zambia's Participants in the CAF 2018 season. In a Circular dated 16th August 2018, Faz is urging all super league teams that due to CAF's earlier circular which had set 15th October 2018 as the deadline for submission of teams, the association has further set week 35 as the final week to know who gets the top four finish. This simply means the Top four teams after week 35 will be the ones to play Continental football for the upcoming CAF season. A check on the cafonline site says the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the nominees for the other categories for the 2016 Glo-CAF Awards. These categories include Women’s Player of the Year list with an appearance of the 22 year old Asisat OSHOALA of Nigeria who plays for Arsenal Ladies.
