Mario Marinica is a Romanian football manager currently head coach for the Forest rangers football club of Ndola who plays in the MTN FAZ super league.

 

Mario Marian-Anton Marinica is a Romanian football manager currently head coach for the Forest rangers football club of Ndola who plays in the MTN FAZ super league. Mario was born on 13 December 1964.

 

Marinica has been employed at the Rangers under the auspices of the team making it into the top 3 for the 2017 season.  His coaching career dates back to 2001 with Rocar Bucuresti as assistant coach.

 

Marinica past achievements include winning the Champions League CECAFA Kagame cup with Azam FC of Tanzania, lecturing at the Brasilia International Football Convention held in Sao Paulo Brazil.

 

The British/Romanian national is a UEFA Pro License holder (North of Ireland Football Association), has a Post graduate Diploma in Sports coaching (South Bank University – England), Degree and Masters Degree (CEng) Mechanical Engineering – Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest – Romania.

 

He was Technical Director and first Team Manager for FC Sportul Studentesc in the Romanian league. He also represented the English Football Association (FA) at the UEFA Coach Educators Standardization Exchange among others.

 

Marinica’s football career, is just shy of four decades, dating back to 1978 when he played for clubs like Steaua Bucharest while he also worked for Italian giants Internazionale Milano (Inter Milan) as a player development consultant.
