South Africa U-20 defender Tercious Malepes’ 84th minute blunder enabled Guinea scoop third position in the 3rd and 4th place match of the 2017 Total U20 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday at Heroes National Stadium.

Liam Jordan scored the opening goal in 6th minute but only lasted for 2 minutes as his team mate Katlego Mohammed scored own goal past his own goalkeeper after a miscommunication.

Naby Bangoura doubled the advantage in 84th minute when South Africa defender Tercious Malepe handed the ball in 18 yard area.
