Zanaco set to meet Napsa in the barclays 2017 final

Napsa Stars edged out record holders and defending champions Zesco United 4-2 on post match penalties while sensational Zanaco humbled elite Lusaka Dynamos 1-0 at Nkoloma Stadium on Saturday in the 2017 Barclays Cup semi-finals.

 

United and Napsa toiled to a 0-0 stalemate in the 13h00 lunch-time kick off after 90 minutes to send the match into post match penalties.

Napsa scored through Austin Banda, Alex Mwamba, Solomon Sakala and Collins Sikombe.

Zesco’s penalties were converted by Jesse Were and David Owino while Fuckson Kapumbu failed to score.

Striker Felix Nyaende 27th minute goal helped Zanaco advance to this year’s Barclays Cup final.

Napsa and Zanaco will clash at Heroes National Stadium in the finals slated for October 28 in Lusaka.
