In a stunning display of goal-scoring prowess, Elite Ladies’ Xiomara Mapepa cemented her position as the leading scorer in the FAZ Women’s Super Division with a remarkable four-goal haul against Green Eagles.

With a first-half hat-trick and a fourth goal in the dying minutes of the game, Mapepa’s total now stands at an impressive 21 goals in just 23 games – one goal ahead of her closest competitor, Red Arrows Women Football Club’s Ochumba Oseke Lubanji, who has scored 20 goals to date.

The consolation goal for Green Eagles came through in the 71st minute when Rachel Moono scored from the spot.

But the drama doesn’t end there in the interesting FAZ women’s super division. This weekend, Mapepa’s Elite Ladies will go head-to-head with Lubanji’s Red Arrows in a highly anticipated clash that is sure to test both teams’ mettle.

Interestingly according to FAZ’s official record-keeping “Arrows with 61 points and a point behind leaders Green Buffaloes, are nine points ahead of Elite Ladies who have 52 points with two games in hand.”
