In a stunning display of skill and dominance, the Zanaco Ladies Football Club proved once again why they are a force to be reckoned with.
Facing off against Royal Girls FC in week 22 of the FAZ women’s super division, the Zanaco ladies demonstrated their superiority, securing an impressive 6-0 victory. Led by star players Tisilile Lungu, Sarah Jere, Mercy Kaluba, and Victoria Miyanda, the Zanaco ladies put on a clinic, scoring goal after goal and shutting down the opposition.
While the Zanaco men’s team may not have had the same success, the ladies have shown that they are more than capable of calling the shots and taking home the win.
Zanaco men’s team were the losers in the men’s competitive league week 24. In a closely contested match, Nkwazi managed to secure a 1-0 win over ZANACO, with Wezzy Kumwenda scoring the winning goal in the 77th minute.
