ENOCK Mwepu was been left out of the Salzburg squad to play Austria Vienna last evening and the reason is obvious.
Austrian Champions and log leaders Red Bull Salzburg named a second string side ahead of this evening’s encounter against Vienna.
Among the notables who havent made the match day squad is Red hot nugget Earling Haaland, Influencial play maker Takumi Minamino and midfield genius ENOCK Mwepu.
ENOCK Mwepu didnt see action in their 6-2 thrashing of F.C Genk on match day one of the Champions league but after prefered defensive midfielder Antoine Bernède suffered a tibial fracture and will be out for months.
ENOCK Mwepu now remains as the next button option and he has been rested in readiness for Wednesday Judgement Day at Anfield against the defending Champions.
Patson Daka however has made today’s match day squad but will start from the bench. He was in the starting line up along side ENOCK Mwepu in their last two local league matches from which Salzburg collected maximum points before a draw in the most recent cup match.
Salzburg has been on fire form since the open of the season and they are perched on top of the Champions league group after firing six past Genk.
Liverpool lie at the bottom of the table after posting to Napoli in Italy on match day one. They will be looking for their first win of the group as they host Salzburg on Wednesday Night.
Liverpool still remain favourites to win at Anfield but Salzburg are not on top of this group for nothing, they play as a unit and the hunger and fearless penetration impetus they posses upfront can live Anfield in stitches.
